LIGHT PLAN – for Cancer coverage

Many of us are worried about the consequences of getting cancer.

A diagnosis of cancer is not only frightening but can leave us concerned whether or not we can afford to pay for the best treatment.

We may have some solutions for you

In the unpleasant situations when a relative, family member, an employee, or even ourselves, are diagnosed with cancer, life doesn’t just become a challenge, it becomes a battle.

Whilst great progress has been made over the years for certain treatments and we hear regular news that new cancer treatments are now on the market, it seems that for most of us, those treatments are unaffordable.

Cancer patients can suffer from ‘information overload’ - information given to us by doctors, well-meaning friends, information we have found on the Internet, and more. This volume of information can be very confusing and disorienting.

Coping with a diagnosis of cancer is not easy…

Here at the MediHelp Group and MediSky, we work hard to find the best way to support you by finding the right treatment and the best medical provider in the country where you live, or abroad if necessary. We can secure fast admission, a rapid start to treatment and total support when dealing with the high cost of treatment and many of the other challenges of the illness.

If you have been diagnosed with cancer but are unsure whether the diagnosis is correct, you may use our medical “Second Opinion” platform. This service gives you access to the latest and most advanced diagnostic techniques as well as the best cancer specialists and doctors in Europe. This service is included in Light Plan at no extra cost.

Our Light Plan for cancer was developed to cover a significant amount of the health care costs incurred by cancer patients.

And… some more useful information:

Who underwrites our insurance policies to guarantee your policy payout?

Our insurance liabilities are underwritten by one of the most prominent and largest insurers in France, MGEN.

In simple terms, you need never worry about any claim you make on your policy, providing it is covered by the terms of that policy.

Who will provide a ‘Medical Second Opinion’?

MediSky had created a strong working relationship with The New European Surgical Academy (NESA).

Arranging for a Medical Second Opinion will enable you to obtain an independent medical opinion on your condition, with a recommendation for an optional treatment venue. The medical opinion is not biased on any financial or business interests and is based purely on medical evidence in order to protect your best interests. The Medical Second Opinion is written by a senior oncological expert.
