MediHelp International joins the campaign “#wedonateforthefuture” within the Global Money Week 2019 International Event, during 25 March - 31 March 2019 and continues the efforts to engage actively and consistently in the activities of the community it is part of. The company's contribution will support the increase of the book fund available to students in Bucharest in order to have an extra chance for education.
We support this campaign along with the Financial Supervisory Authority of Romania, the National Union of Insurance Brokers and Insurance Consultants in Romania and many other companies that have decided to get involved. We believe that education is the foundation of a healthy life and investing in widening the educational opportunities of students is absolutely essential for them to become responsible adults. We will contribute to the students' book fund as we are convinced that only by education a child will have access to a better future, says Laura Afrasine, Executive Manager of MediHelp International.
Global Money Week (GMW) is an international event to raise awareness of the importance of education worldwide. Every year, many communities carry out financial education actions devoted to children and students, in order to establish economic development policies and provide tools for the financial reshaping of the future for the population.
From 2012 until today, the campaign has influenced the lives of 32 million children and young people in 169 countries worldwide, 310,000 activities have taken place, and 53,300 organizations have been involved. Last year, over 80 organizations in Romania helped 34,300 children directly and 122,250 indirectly.
